Hi Colin,
Try this instead of selecting them first, then hiding them.
Worksheets("Sheet1").Columns("E:F").Hidden = True
Worksheets("Sheet1").Columns("J:O").Hidden = False
Worksheets("Sheet1").Columns("K:L").Hidden = True
etc
Cheers

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] An excel Problem
Hi All,
I have a perplexing excel problem that is stumping me.
I am trying to hide several columns in an excel spreadsheet by either a
macro or preferably a VB control button. I have 3 buttons to show or hide
certain columns, but it either hides all columns or no columns (depending on
which button is clicked)
I have attached the file.....hope someone can help!
Cheers,
Colin White
