[Year 12 IT Apps] OT: The Education Channel/EduList/EduCache

Dear List,

   I am currently trying to reverse our schools Education-Channel- 
only policy.  I have put together a lot of material to back me up,  
but my principal would like to know if there are any schools that  
have considered the Education Channel but rejected it.  If your  
school is in this category, could you please drop me a line?

If your school has gone to an EC-only policy then reversed that  
decision, I'd be especially interested to hear from you.

Also, she has stated that this option was the one recommended by the  
department.  Can anyone give me a bit more background on that? As far  
as I can tell from the EC website, it is presented to schools merely  
as an option for consideration.

Considering it prevents schools from following the VELS and PoLT, it  
would be insanity for the department to recommend it!!
