[Year 12 IT Apps] VITTA VCE PD day

I'll jump on my hobbyhorse again. We are teachers of ICT - why don't we star=
t using ICT or PDs especially for those a long way away. I attended the know=
ledge bank online conference last year and they used Elluminate and it was v=
ery useful (and I didn't have to travel 800 km for a PD - =3D cost, time and=
 risk on the road)

Just jumping in here and agreeing with Mel. A little more notice required, e=
specially for those of us a long way away that need to book travel etc. Hope=
fully will still be able to attend, but less than 2 weeks notice makes it ve=
ry very difficult. Desperately need the PD and it would be a shame to miss i=
t because of short notice.

Are there any others planned?

Would love to go to this day but need 2 weeks notice of PD at my school for=

There is an official flyer being release very soon, however, to let you know
what is planned:

VITTA is holding a PD day at Melbourne Uni on the 9th March for the new
study design.  There will be sessions on all of the new VCE units as well as
the VET units.  There will also be special sessions for first time teachers
of the study design as well as group sessions.
