We are upgrading one of our computer labs and are not sure whether to buy LCD monitors or stick with CRTs. LCDs look nice but they appear to be a bit flimsy or not so robust as we need in a school. Can anyone advise us?

Brendyn,
e-Learning Plans. Each school should have one. We have one, the last school I worked at sort of had one but didn't take any notice of it, and the school I worked at before that didn't have one at all.
It is department policy that each school should have one- last time I checked. But then it was department policy that VELS reporting have two grades above the 'standard' for the last two years till this morning.
So really anything goes. Almost.

If you are or have had any experience with this could you please help.
We have just formed another committee (I know what your thinking...)This committee is made up of the major stake holders of the Info Systems in the school. (business, academic, administration, first aid etc) One of the outcomes of the first meetings was to formulate a vision or direction statement. What will this committee achieve or do...
Has anyone else been on or in or has written such a beast.
You can email me directly if you like or respond to the list if you think all could benfit.
Thanks
Brendyn
