[Year 12 IT Apps] OT response

Thanks for the feedback Ros, but the threads are still getting lots of responses and I dont really have the time to fathom through 10+ OT responses before I can see some 'on topic' responses.
I'm not a grumpy old man and I like red wine(lately the one with bubbles!) and I love a giggle like the rest of us occasionally(at least twice a day is compulsory). But I have only a small size space on this server and I wonder how the server manager would think if I let it all just build up.
Kevork set this(these) lists up for a genuine reason - let us all remember the time it took to do this and their original intent!
Cheers.
Kent.

Subject: RE: [Year 12 IT Apps] Non ITA list content
Hi Kent,
But nobody seems to subscribe to the Offtopic list, which is why I posted my query re wireless problems to this list, and I did preface my first enquiry with "This is really Offtopic but I thought more suggestions might come from this list."
If everyone who started an offtopic thread puts the word 'offtopic' in the subject, you can set up a rule in your email client to delete them all automatically if you don't want to participate in these threads. Otherwise there is a little X button you can use, combined with the shift or CTRL key and sorting by topic it is quick to delete large numbers of emails.
Just an idea.
Personally I always think you never know when a thread might appear that interests you (or someone says something that gives you a giggle!)- regardless of the topic.
It's hot, it's 2.40pm Friday arvo, and a glass of wine is less than half an hour away!!! *smile*
Cheers
Ros

Hi Kent. Yes, I guess the OT quotient has been rising lately but it
never seemed to get to a problematic level.
We should all keep in mind the primary aim of this list and ask
ourselves whether it's better post our queries to a more appropriate forum.
