Seeya Richo..
you can run but you cant hide! The kids (and some of your mates) will track you down for stuff...
Enjoy the retirement..
My two brother in laws have also just retired...
When one was asked.."do you miss work?" , he just laughed, raised the tinnie in hand and said 'you got to be kidding!!"
Me, jealous? You bet!
cheers from me..

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Goodbye, Farewell, Adios!
This is probably the last email I will send to the ITA (formerly IPM)
list as tomorrow I retire from teaching after 42 incredible years.
Thank you all for your wonderful support during my time associated with
this list. Two things became apparant - "give and you shall receive",
"ask and you shall be swamped with support". Many on our list are
committed givers, totally unselfish, totally supportive of one another,
and inspirational to us all.
I remember in my early months on this list, receiving an email from a
now retired teacher who advised me to "Get a life" implying, I suppose,
that in her opinion I spent too much time preparing and sharing stuff
for our kids, via the IPM list. For about half an hour, this stung me
into paralysis, then I thought what the heck! If you don't like it,
tough luck, and kept on giving.
Where would be be if Kevork decided to "Get a life" away from our shared
needs, or many of the other regular contributers?
Bye to you all, guys and gals, have a great Christmas Break, and return
to your IT classes refreshed and inspired for another year at the
chalk-face.
Warm regards, Keith
