Subject: OT Rocket Science qn..

Apologies all but can someone answer me a quick science question..
My school is doing space and rocketry stuff and I have done this at my previous schools but didnt actually buy the rocket kits as this was the Science techies realm.
Can anyone tell me where in melbourne or region similar that these kits can be ordered so I can pass this info on to my Science folk here.

The kit contains basically..
parachute, balsa to shape for tail fins, a hollow body tube(similar to the roll inside handtowels), a block to shape into the nose cone, a metal lug to hold the launching charge etc.

The rocket is powered by a small charge ignited by attaching a wire to a battery and wammo..off it goes up the guide pole to about 3-500 feet depending which powered charge is used.

I remember it being a great activity and would like to pass this info to my current school.

Can anyone help, if you can, email me off list on my address below please..

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] On-screen user documentation

Dear esteem colleagues

Perhaps I am dredging up something that have already been discussed but ...

In the "good old days", user documentation followed this general pattern:

*	How to start the application and open the file
*	How to add new data and delete unwanted data
*	How to change existing data
*	How to print
*	How to save the file (including using new filenames)
*	How to exit the program

I am getting my students to create a single web page with an index similar to the topics listed above with links to bookmarks in this one page and using screen dumps.

And since this user doc is on-screen, it make sense to me to put a button in the spreadsheet that links to this one web page.

Does this sound right?

But if it is in the spreadsheet then step 1 (start and open file) is not necessary as you can't get to the user doc until you open the file. And if they can open the application, can I assume that the user knows how to exit too making the last step is superfluous?

Is my reasoning logical?
