Lesley, would you be willing to accept an independent comment on your proposed outcome?
I wont comment onlist but would be happy to comment via a direct email if willing to accept an objective point of view. Before others start...I am no genius on excel either folks and that is not the basis of my potential comment.

Dear all,

Thank you again for all your help. I have attached my Outcome 1 Task 1 (and spreadsheet solution) that I am about to start with my students. I found that several of the task examples that were going around were too hard for me and my students, as it is the first time we've done spreadsheets at a senior level. I therefore made it pretty simple, so if you're looking for an easy-ish one, you are welcome to use it.

It also a bit 'girly' - we are a girl's school after all!
