Hi Kevork.

Thanks! I stumbled across that just 10 minutes ago, and have requested a password. I have a few bits and pieces in text books here, but there is a reasonable difference between VB.NET (2003) vintage as compared to the 2005 vintage, particularly in Database connection, and how it's done.

As you know, lots to take in first year teaching. Even though I'm - *ahem* - mature age - I feel like a first year apprentice again!! (that was 20 years ago..)

 I posted a number of VB.NET exercises and SACs as have others at edulists  www.edulists.com.au under IS. 
SACs are password protected , so if you don't have a password you can request it from the same site.

Hi.

As a new teacher, I am trying to get hold of some Unit 4 SAC 1 (particularly VB.NET --> access database) examples. So far on the VITTA site I have found one, but would like to compare with some other examples. All the other material we have at school is VB6 which I can also re-write.

Would anyone kindly have some examples I can look through; even use?

Next question: I am thinking of NOT using a database example in this SAC..Possibly just reading/writing to a text file..sound OK??
