[Year 12 IPM] IPM Exam Lectures

Hi Margaret
Last year David Dawson organised so that my Systems exam prep lecture
was filmed. The stated aim being to make it available to people unable
to attend because of distance.

I know it was filmed. I was there  (Ha ha  ROFL )

Maybe you could follow up with VITTA and see what happened

I know that my exam lectures at VITTA run at a loss - especially given
the cost of hiring theatres at Melb Uni and yet they still go ahead.

But the conference usually makes a profit and that is used to subsidise
the other good things that VITTA does for teachers.

Hi Margaret,

There are certainly lots of issues regarding this technology that need
to be
worked out - however, please do not suggest that VITTA are not doing
anything in this regard as they "won't be able to take a cut".  It's not
about that at all - VITTA exists to serve its members and will take
anything
on as long as it is worthwhile - many of the PD sessions that we run do
so
at a loss (as you are aware).

This technology is something that we at VITTA are looking in to - if
there
is anyone with expertise in this area, we would be very happy for your
input!

I think that VITTA have been grappling with this issue for near on 10
years now ....
