Joyce (my thoughts for what they are worth) - email needs to be the
basic fundamental communication-link tool, but my suggestion is to
imagine yourself as part of such a team with an ongoing team task that
demands close cooperation through changing circumstances, disagreements,
misunderstandings, etc - then see the different tricks that you can pull
out of the hat to facilitate effective AND efficient team work. From
that, then, think about what forms of communication you would ideally
want to have happen, then search for tools that will actually enable
these.
So my suggestion is to work from the "real happenings and needs being
experienced by the teams" back to the ITC tools you might make good use
of.
