[Year 12 IPM] Off topic but...

I have not set one up with Linux, but I used PHP Dev (combines Apache,
mySQL and PHP) on a WinXP box.  Took only a few minutes to install and
setup.  Works great.  Have not had to do anything to it for 6 months.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience setting up a LAMP
(linux, apache, mySQL, php) server to use with a school intranet? Is it
straight-forward or should I not bother?
