This year I piloted Units 1 and 2 of the new study design. It's much
more fun to teach than previous IT study designs and student learning
was much deeper. I presented a session at the VITTA conference in which
I shared what I learned from teaching these units. A copy of my slide
show is attached (900kb) for those interested. The links on the slides
are to examples of student work and learning activities. I can't upload
these because of the number and file size but am happy to talk to people
about the course by phone or email. Two of the slides display concept
maps of the courses. I found it much easier to map the units in this new
study design as there is only one repetition of topic.
Merry Christmas to all,
