Hi all

 

I am teaching yr 11 IT for the first time next year (with 25 kids!)

 

anyway i have just started having a look at it and thinking about the
curriculum

 

i have produced a course outline (both for myself and for the students)
- see attached

 

I would appreciate any feedback on it from others who have or are
teaching units 1 and 2 

 

in particular unit 2 outcome 2 (networks) seems fairly dry -- any1 got
any ideas to jazz it up?

 

I was thinking of some practical component using old PCs or something -
anybody tried something like that?

 

overall thought the course looks pretty fun - lost of room for the kids
to express themselves and be creative
