[Year 12 IPM] Off topic query

Think the long term solution will be that MPEG2 video files will be on the network like any other files.
Suggest that Libraries start collecting their video from broadcast as DVD rather than tape NOW.
Copyright issues with transfer of past free to air video collection to DVD and thus to MPEG2 are so cloudy as to allow us to proceed
as well.
The school library exemptions from copyright restrictions are still substantial.

Haven't used one but I believe you can only play their videos on their system. There is another company, can't remember it's name,
which has the same deal. Both are expensive. In my opinion, and I could be wrong, the situation is a bit like VHS and Beta, one will
stay and one will go.

Hello everyone
I know it's off-topic but I'm wondering if anyone out there has used "Click View" digital video library and how useful you think it
is.

Thank you to anyone replies to dpeat at firbank.vic.edu.au <mailto:dpeat at firbank.vic.edu.au> .
