[Year 12 IPM] VELS & Software functions

At the PD session run by VITTA in August Paula Christophersen talked about matching student development phases with the use of appropriate software functions when 'Creating'. She emphasised the need to do a lot of matching when planning units of work. I have been looking through the VELS site but cannot see any recommendations to assist us to do this. Does anyone know where I might find such guidance or is it up to each school to determine this?
