[Year 12 IPM] Guidelines for preparing digital graphics

Greetings to all
 
I am aware that Unit 3 includes an outcome that touches on this topic and have some knowledge of what is needed.
 
However, does anyone know of a really good resource that provides some clear guidelines when it comes to preparing digital graphics for print media (incl Word, Publisher, Quark Express, ...) and electronic/screen media (incl Powerpoint, the WWW, ...)?
