[Year 12 IPM] OT - How big is your internet bill?

Netspace DO offer individual student emails but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole (just like, as a school I don't think it is
our "business" to deliver mail to them, or to sell them products .... etc etc )
The annual sub is $ 595.

I actually think that I am being ripped off because Vic Govt makes us go through VicOne and pay exorbitant premiums on what would
other wise be a much cheaper commercial ISP supply (just look at the prices of private individual contracts !!!!).  They do this to
cross subsidise the VicGove IT infrastructure agreement in the pocket of Telstra.

I think a lot of people are being ripped off even worse than I !!

Ours has never gone over $5000 per annum (less than 20 Gb per month plan through Netspace costs $300 per month plus annual sub)

at our school we only pay $12,000 -$13,000 per year for aapt and myinternet. but we know next year it will  go up. not sure on the
amount of megabytes that we generally use but will let you know when the next bill comes in.

For the 3 months from Aug-Oct, my college's total internet traffic costs
(not including ADSL line charges or subscription fees) was $5810 inc
GST.  Approx $1936 per month.  Total of 58,109 megabytes.

Just wondering where I'm standing in the ballpark compared to you guys.
