Ron

I am sure that it MAY be accepted conventions in certain newsgroups to
post to the bottom - but this is a mailing list.

As most people use mail clients that show them the first 10 lines of the
email, it is generally customary to write ones reply in this space so
that emails perceived as trash can be easily filed away into the trash
can.

;)

(can't remember the last time I posted to a newsgroup!)

To top post or not to top post.

	(Ron, are you serious?)

OK, there are better informed people out there than us two old
hacks.

	What is the correct etiquette?

(Is the lawperson listening, she'll know)

	Sawasdee krup Mark,

	(Practising my Thai).

Yeah, actually I was serious, but I was also having a go at you.
(I have to now that I am emigrating. :-)

Top posting is frowned upon in Newsgroups and also in threaded
posts like these for the following reason - you want to read a thread
from the top down, not read someone's reply and then have to scroll for
the original post.

Btw I enjoyed your comments on the exam. Wonder what will happen
to qun 5.
