[ESL] Timetableing ESL Classes

Can anyone tell me how other schools timetable ESL classes. At the moment
our junior girls, years 7 to 9 are withdrawn from other classes for ESL
classes. We only have small groups between 3 and 8. Do other schools have
ESL classes as part of the timetable?
