[English] Sponsored places in Masters courses, 2nd Intake July 2011

Exceptional opportunities are available for teachers, coaches and members of the Principal class to develop specialist knowledge in either literacy or numeracy through the provision of Bastow Institute substantially sponsored places at the University of Melbourne.
The Department has met most of the cost of the courses. Participants pay $6000 in 4 instalments over the two years. Fee-help is also available. Additional support of 10 CRT days is provided to school based participants.


In this intake there are 20 places in the Master of Literacy and 20 places in the Master of Numeracy courses delivered by the University of Melbourne over two years part-time.

The design of the Master courses has been carefully planned to support teachers, coaches and Principal class officers to balance workload with University attendance. Each subject combines whole day intensives with an online delivery.
