know a few more details abt time involved etc when you can. Might depend
on how terms 2 and 3 shake out for me. I've got 2 Year 11 English
language classes, one Year 11 Eng - and one Year 12 English. (Oh - and
a year 8 History .. don't ask!?!)
Hope to catch up soon.

Subject: [English] Still seeking interested teachers
Hello all - I am still seeking teachers in Melbourne who may be
interested in participating in my research project. Please email me
your
contact details if you are interested. The ad was in the VATE
newsletter,
but it is below as well. Thanks. Amanda Gutierrez (Collins).
Teachers invited to participate in research about critical literacy
Interested secondary English teachers who have taught both middle
secondary and senior years from the Melbourne metropolitan area are
invited to participate in a PhD research project conducted through the
University of Melbourne. This project will look at the ways teachers
practice critical literacy in their classrooms. Participation will be
in
early to mid second term and will involve classroom observation and an
interview. If you would like to share your views on what critical
literacy means to you and how you use it in your classrooms, or would
like
further information, please contact the researcher either by phone or
email.
