[English] a play for year 9 English?

At Lakeside SC I used the play of Mary Shelley (?) Frankenstein. I teamed this the film Bladerunner. We had a lot of fun with the ideas that crossed both texts

Has anyone found a play to recommend for year 9?

Merchant of Venice is too hard, although we're considering it as a film study - the Al Pacino as Shylock version.
