[English] English Literature Units 1 & 2 help please

Hello Folks,

  

I've been a permanent 'lurker' on this list for a few years (with the
occasional [VERY] foray into writing). That has been especially so
this year with 5 VCE classes and 3.5 of them 'first time' in the college
and for me situations !!

However, life may slow down a bit next year, or so I thought! Late
last week I learned that we have a class of Yr 11 English Literature
next year for the first time ever, and I have the unenviable task of
establishing it.

So I am throwing myself on the mercy of the group and asking for two
things.

1. Would people be prepared to give me a list of texts they have used
with the course in recent years.
2. Would anyone be willing to send me a copy of their planning
schedule (term planner) so that I can see how folk organise their
course.

Regarding 1. above, i have the additional restriction of using texts
that are acceptable to staff, students and parents (including of
course, our principal and myself).


I'd be grateful for any help you might be able to give me.
