[English] Short stories for Yr 7s

Hello Dave,
Another anthology composed specifically for Years 7 - 8 is Story  
Wizards, Series editor, Sandra Bernhardt. Published by Macmillan  
Education Australia in 2005. Authors include Libby Gleeson, Allan  
Baillie, Gina Dillon, Gary Crew, Jacqueline Kent and myself, Lyndall  
Hough. Each chapter has subsections eg: Who is Libby Gleeson? What  
does Libby think about writing? What does Libby say about her  
stories? Then a couple of stories follow. Each story has: 1 Key  
questions. 2 For discussion. 3 an aspect of story telling eg  
Characters. 4 Your turn to write.
This book has been followed by Story Weavers aimed more at 9 - 10,  
published in 2006 with Carmel Bird, Peter Goldsworthy, Libby Hathorn,  
Beth Spencer, Warren Flynn, Roxzan Bowes and Brian Caswell.
