A recent comment was posted today regarding ICTEVs activities.

‘And of course, and as usual, the 2 subsidized Vic Ed Dpt 'subject  
associations' whom appear the most appropriate to offer us VELS  
teacher-pd, that's the ICTEV and VITTA, are busy drinking coffee.’

The comment inferred that ICTEV is not providing a full program of  
professional development for the Victorian education community.   
ICTEV organises a program which comprises of over 40 activities /  
events per year, the most recent being the state conference 'ICT  
connecting learning' held on 13th May 2006 - http:// 
www.ictev.vic.edu.au/event/conference.htm. ICTEV will also be  
delivering their submission for the Victorian Parliamentary Committee  
on Education and Training Inquiry into young people's use of  
multimedia and digital literacies outside school and the implications  
that might have for school curriculum and pedagogy next week. ICTEV

program, or call the office if you wish to arrange some PD for your  
school.
