Hi all,

Slightly OT but wondering if anyone had used a satisfactory kiosk/hotspot solution for getting BYOD devices connected the first time that can deal with a proxy with authentication?

We use an MDM which can handle connection setup outside of school while connected to the internet but of course students when at school have no connection until they are set up. We have mucked around with a few solutions all of which won’t transparently traverse the proxy. This means students would have to enter proxy settings as well and that given we are trying to create an unsupervised connection procedure this just isn’t going to work.

Any ideas or software or solutions anyone else has used would be great! Thanks in advance.
