I used MIndstorms too in the early 2000s with the wireless devices and it was terrific. Difficult to keep track of all the Lego pieces though! I bought a small case and lots of plastic boxes for each type of building component and they helped keep them in some order as well as preventing too many losses. I have to say only a few students were interested in robotics, most of my students preferred creating games.

Hi,

I teach programming to Year-10 students. I want to see if I can incorporate/demonstrate programming using a robot. I see that there are "Lego Mindstorm" and "Bioloid Beginner Robot Kit" that can be used (both costing around $500 each). If anyone has taught Robotics, can you suggest which one is a good option.
