[elearning] School Website

Hi all,
Our school has been using a Wordpress website and I was interested to know what are the best themes (paid and free) available. Are there other content management systems that I should consider other than Wordpress. The website is primarily for communication with the school community at large and should be editable by non-IT staff. I guess there may be a few schools using Sharepoint?
