People may be interested in this link to a BBC series on Visions for the
future which screened on BBC knowledge recently.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/documentaries/features/visions-future.shtml The
last show which I am still trying to get hold of had mocks up of Video links
with 3D imaging: so you were talking to a life sized virtual image of a
person in another country. In the same show they had a section on second
life. These sorts of videos I have found are useful ways of getting staff
interested and excited about IT. The ones the artificial intellgence
revolution are also equally interesting.
