Dear Colleagues,
We at VITTA are asking for a few minutes of your time to help us by
completing a survey. We don't want you to do the survey for nothing - when
you complete the survey you will automatically be entered into Department of
Business and Innovation prize draw. The time-line is quite short, so if you
could complete the survey in the next few days, your responses would be
greatly appreciated.
The survey asks for your feedback if you have attended any of the Upload
Your Future (UYF) events conducted by VITTA.
The Upload Your Future events include the following range of important
activities:
- ICT Achievers (placement of students interested in ICT careers
with employers for three weeks)
- ICT and Careers Expo in ICT Careers Week (previously at Xavier
College and Melbourne High School and recently at Federation Square)
- ICT Student Career Forums at the VITTA Conference (previously at
Flemington Racecourse and recently at Caulfield Racecourse)
- ICT Teacher Careers Forums at the VITTA Conference (previously at
Flemington Racecourse and recently at Caulfield Racecourse)
- Events such as the 'Careers in IT' evening at Melbourne
University with Deloitte, Google and Melbourne University
- ICT Bus Tours for students and teachers, visiting innovative
users of ICT in industry.
VITTA offers these events and activities in partnership with the Department
of Business and Innovation and industry to promote ICT, course and career
pathways. They provide opportunities for teachers and students to become
familiar with and involved in the latest in ICT in education and in
industry.
We appreciate the support of the Department of Business and Innovation and
your participation in the survey would enhance our ability to continue the
programs.
