Subject: [Design and Technology] Excess tools for metal?

Good morning Teachers,

Sarah has reached out to us with a question: whether there are any schools that have taught metal in the past but is no longer part of the school curriculum…

She would really appreciate hearing about any excess tools any of you may have to broaden what projects she can achieve with the students at Eltham.

Wish list for tools would be:

  *   Square rollers
  *   Drawplates
  * Any excess tools for example- files, precious materials, pliers, ring mandrels, ring sizers and hammers.
  * Metal stakes- particularly old style cylinder round shape, as I make containers with students.
  * Metal doming blocks- large and small
  *   Swage block
  *   Letter stamps

Please feel free to reply email or contact Sarah (CCd) directly.

Thanks and kind regards,

Emma Fritsch
