G'day Phil,
The ones I have seen were just melted on a tray in the oven, no shredding required. I don't have personal experience with this, but is it something that an air fryer could be used for? they are cheap enough to justify purchasing for a tech workshop.
Cheers

Subject: [Design and Technology] Plastic shredder
Hey Tech teachers
Looking for information on plastic shredders.
We are looking at doing a unit on recycling plastics and want to have a go at melting plastic bottle caps.
Does anyone have a contact for a suitable machine?
Cheers Phil O’Kelly
