[Design and Technology] VCE Query - feedback please

I have heard on the grapevine the powers above are looking at combining VCE PDT Textiles and Wood…
Is that even possible? Permissible… even if there was some demi god with suitable skills in both (technically I could but it’s been a while since I have played with wood, never at VCE level)
Logistics here with two totally different rooms in different buildings for the different materials would make it nigh impossible, unless we have a split class with the prac time in different room?
Naturally nothing has been said to us in person… just what we are picking up on…. And we have been told other schools do it… so very curious as to anyone who does….
I would assume a purpose built technology space would make it possible… we don’t have that.
Not sure which other lists to send this to… and even who the VCE tech person is now at VCAA.
Help!!
Anyone doing this successfully/unsuccessfully
