[Design and Technology] Laser Cutter Tubes

Good idea - but they use a proprietary US style laser tube - which is a fully enclosed cartridge style deal, click in, click out.  Ours is one of those glass-tube fellows and doesn't match up with what they provide!  

They were LOVELY to talk with though, and were great about it all - so if you want a laser and support they'd probably do that well.

Not sure of one in the Melbourne Metro area, but you can try LST Group http://lstgroup.com.au/. They visit Melb often and we get them to service the machine while they are in town.
We will be having to replace ours before the end of the year, so would be good to hear how you go as well

Hi All,

We need to replace a laser cutter tube (40W) for our engraver at short notice, but I am finding it difficult to source a supplier/wholesaler/retailer who sells laser cutting tubes off the shelf - does one exist in the Melbourne metro area?  

If not, what are people doing to replace theirs when they die?  I'd go through our machine manufacturer/supplier but they're being very cagey about how long it will take to deliver one.

Any information would be very helpful.
