[Design and Technology] Employment Opportunities

Hello

I am seeking any leads regarding possible vacancies for a Design & Technology teacher specialising in woodworking who is also capable of teaching jewellery in Victoria.

I have a current VIT registration with a Diploma of Secondary Education from La Trobe University. In 2015 I successfully completed a rewarding fixed term contract at Princess Hill Secondary College (Melbourne). Were I instigated two challenging units of works that was well received by students, parents & teachers. At the completion of my fixed term I have continued to work as a CRT at Princess Hill.
 
In 2015 I successfully completed a rewarding 7 week short term contract position at  Princess Hill Secondary College. Were I instigated two challenging units of works that was well received by students, parents & teachers. As part of my pedagogical training I undertaken my practicum at Strathmore Secondary College & Viewbank College both in Melbourne, where I committed myself in excess of the mandated 45 days of placement. Combined with my undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Visuals Arts from the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra where I majored in Woodworking/Furniture design & construction with a minor in Gold & Silversmithing which has provided me with an excellent background to commence an engaging career.
 
As a teacher I am capable of bringing an understanding of both the AusVELS & VCE curriculum which demands not only procedural know how, but also the critical thinking required by the creative design process. As an educator, I believe in the meaning that art, design & technology can bring to the lives of my students. Delivered within a dynamic and engaging learning environment I believe that it is capable of fostering both personal growth and development. As a confident communicator, I readily engage with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and varying degrees of ability. One of my greatest strengths is in providing students with individually tailored and scaffolded learning experiences, instilling within them an ongoing positive disposition towards their own education and as agents for change within their broader community
