Hi all,

Just wanted to share a very successful project. At the beginning of the year my faculty started making a USB led lamp (pictures are below).  We decided to do this project so that students were introduced to the various technologies we offer in year 9. As a result, students have loved completing this project and have chosen our subjects offered in year 9.

The good aspect of this project is that all the off cut pieces of timber from other years could be glued together and used to create the base.

Acrylic panel was etched with a laser.
