Hi again...another day another share,

I used to manufacture products similar to these back in the UK on the back
of my custom surfboard business and sold them over the internet globally...

I've since started making bodysurfing handplanes with my Y9 wood tech
students the ones pictured are made by my current group - I delivered it as
their first project and to say it proved popular is an understatement. I
used meranti with a gum stringer - they work amazingly well and offer a good
level of creative variation and endless surface decoration opportunities. 

Cannot recommend this one enough - would work with DT students or even Y8
Mand Tech...

I know they're not a new thing - been around for years but a lot of kids
haven't even heard of them and of course they're so much fun to use!
