Judging F1 in Schools is Fun and Inspiring

We are looking for people willing to be judges at the NSW & Vic State finals of the F1 in Schools™ Technology Challenge.

·         Being a judge is a difficult challenge,

·         You will meet some of the best students in the world,

·         Your knowledge will be challenged by students as young as 12,

·         There is much that the students will teach you,

·         At the end of the day you will be exhausted,

REA hosts State/Territory competitions of the F1 in Schools™ Technology Challenge in most states. At this level of the competition, a full range of marking criteria is being assessed including Engineering knowledge, marketing, verbal presentations and pit displays. The top scoring teams are then invited to represent their State at the National Final which will be held next year at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Key Dates

NSW & ACT State Final:

      Venue:        UWS, Kingswood Campus
      Dates:         6 & 7 November 2014

    A Judge’s Briefing will be held on the morning of the first day
    with all team judging conducted on both 1st & 2nd days. 

Vic State Final:

      Venue:        Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
      Dates:         26 & 27 November 2014

    A Judge’s Briefing will be held on the morning of the first day
    with all team judging conducted on both 1st & 2nd days.
    This event will form part of Engineers Australia National Convention 2014

If you or a colleague have a background in the following areas, we would welcome your expertise whether it be grounded in industry or education:

    Engineering
    Racing
    Marketing or Graphic Design
    Business Communications
    Running a business

We know you will be impressed by these young people. You may even feel compelled to become involved in their campaign to represent Australia at the 2015 F1 in Schools™ World Finals.
