[Design and Technology] Great Materials website

Hi all
If you don't know about this organisation already, it's worth subscribing to Materia. It is based in the Netherlands and is a repository (almost wrote suppository) of information about a huge variety of materials. It's great for increasing students' awareness of new and emerging materials - some very high tech and innovative, and also about really unusual materials often from indigenous/unique cultural origin and use.

There is a great article on their website at the moment about a lightweight and super strong polymer fibre being used for a spectacular art installation - a coloured web that 'breathes' with the wind.
