There is still time to submit applications for Top Designs 2014. Due date Thursday 17 October 2013.
We are looking forward to receiving as many applications of A and A+ work from students as possible, in a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastic and textiles.
Further details and application forms can be found here: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/excellenceawards/seasonofexcellence/index.aspx
Participating in Top Designs is a great experience for a young designer. Here is some feedback from students who participated in 2013:
The whole experience was great, exhibiting work in a professional environment, and being recognised for my hard work is a great feeling and makes Year 12 worthwhile.
I loved being a part of the exhibition, and it gave me a boost in confidence with my work and skills.
Being involved was the most surreal feeling in the world. Being able to see my work displayed in an art gallery, where many people would be viewing it was amazing!
So spread the word, and we are looking forward to a bumper crop of PDT applications for 2014.
