[Design and Technology] In need of Speaker / Amplifier Kits

Dear All,

We are currently looking at developing a course around an "External speaker for your portable music device" as a year 10 Product Design Project.

Does anybody know of a supplier of a 1W to 5W speaker kit (preferably pre-assembled) in either 9VDC (battery) or up to 12VDC (plug pack) that we could give to students as a  'constraint' for the product? Cost is also going to be a factor.
