To VCE PD&T Teachers
In the letter below, we mentioned that the size and weight of Wood,Metal and Plastic product might be problematic, however there are no size and weight restrictions in the selection of student products. Please send examples of student work in for selection, regardless of their size.

I am also hearing anecdotally from teachers that there are many fantastic pieces of student design and production work that aren't being sent in for selection. It would be great if you really encouraged (convinced, assisted) your talented and hardworking 2013 students to enter their work into Top Designs later this year. This exhibition should be a celebration of the great work that is possible using Wood, Metal and Plastics in our study design.

And ... apologies for the personal message that crept into the first email from DATTA Vic - please ignore.

Thanks
Jill Livett

Their students will gain inspiration from production and folio work on display from the Textiles material category. In the same exhibition space, Top Designs 2013 will be displaying excellent examples of wood, metal and plastics products, prototypes and design work, developed by past Top Designs students who are studying industrial design at a tertiary level or working successfully in the field.
