[Design and Technology] DATTA VIC NEWS Volume 25 Issue 1

Thanks to Jill Livett and others for the comprehensive article on evaluation criteria as it is understood in the Product Design & Technology context 2012 and beyond. It was published on page 8 & 9 of Datta News this month. Given it took four very full pages to explain the concepts, it just goes to show the added level of complexity that has been overlaid onto the 2007-2011 Study Design. Such complexity is not always helpful for the young people we teach.

If there is anybody from DATTA gets this message, could they please place that issue on the website so we could use it as a teaching resource. I don't plan on rewriting anymore resources for unit 3 this year.

I thought I saw an email requesting interest in presenting at the May conference... now I can't even find the dates of the conference....
Can you give me the details? Is it too late to express interest in presenting?

The DATTA Vic Annual Conference will be held at Northland College of the Arts and Technology (NCAT) over two days, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 May. The theme for the 2012 conference is Product evolution - designing for 7 billion
