[Design and Technology] Student Fashion design competition

The Australian Academy of Design invites entries from aspiring fashion
designers to submit up to 4 illustrations of a garment related to the theme
³All that Glitters². The aim of the competition is to incorporate fashion
and artistry together to come up with a design that combines innovative and
creative ideas that are expressed in an image or series of images that
reflect the theme. Consider colour, fabric choice and what sort of media
design best communicates a vision.  Images submitted can be pencil sketches,
painted, graphic images, collage, stitched fabrics, students are only
limited by your imagination!

Finalists of the competition will be invited to the exhibition opening in
the Academy¹s Clement Meadmore Gallery and work will be displayed from 27
July ­ 5 August 2011.

How to enter:
Download an entry form from www.designacademy.edu.au
Email your entry to awards at designacademy.edu.au and be sure to include:
€  an image of work in jpeg or pdf format
€  completed entry form with artist¹s release form
€  artist¹s statement of no more than 150 words. This statement should
explain how the work addresses the theme
€  completed model release form (if applicable)

Next steps for finalists will be advised on 13 July.
