[Design and Technology] design fundamentals and applications

Hi Loraine,

The girls and I are looking through the design fundamentals and
applications tabled in the study design and need the classifications
explained so we understand them better. The two areas fundamentals and
Applications appear blurred and we can't see the distinction. Please
explain.
