Call For Submissions
 
The Australian Academy of Design Poster Prize is an annual competition.
Finalists of the 2008 competition will be exhibited in the Academy¹s Gallery
from 9 - 26 July 2008
 
Entries 
Open 1 June, 2008.  Closing date 30 June, 2008.

The Australian Academy of Design invites entries from artists and designers
in the following categories:
 
Category A:  Open     First place: $1500 cash prize donated by Connex
Category B:   Tertiary students (inc. TAFE students) First place: $1000 cash
prize donated by Connex.
Category C:    Years 10-12 secondary school students First place: $500 cash
prize donated by Connex
            
Theme
Close Encounters of a Public Transport Kind
You are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly.  Text/no
text/painting/drawing/mixed media are all acceptable.

In addition, a Scholarship to study at the Australian Academy of Design in
the Bachelor of Design Arts degree will be awarded to the overall winner
from Categories B and C.

Please encourage your students to enter.  Entry forms and terms and
conditions of entry are attached and can be found under news and events on
our website at www.designacademy.edu.au
