Call For Submissions

Entries Open 1 May, 2008.  Closing date 29 May, 2008.
 
The Australian Academy of Design Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual
competition.  Finalists of the 2008 competition will be exhibited in the
Academy¹s Gallery from 11 June ­ 4 July 2008
 
The Australian Academy of Design invites entries from photographers in the
following categories:
Category A: Open 
Category B: Tertiary students (inc. TAFE students)
Category C:  Years 10-12 secondary school students
 
Awards
In each Category A, B, and C:
First place:  Nikon Coolpix digital camera valued at $299 courtesy of
Michaels Camera Store and Nikon.
Second place:  $175 voucher from Michaels Camera Store.
Third place:  $90 voucher from Michaels Camera Store.
 
In addition, a Scholarship to study at the Australian Academy of Design in
the Bachelor of Design Arts (Photo Media) degree will be awarded to the
overall winner from Categories B and C.
