David, which organisation is running the course and administering its delivery, and the subsequent delivery of courses to be conducted by its graduates/participants?

Subject: [Design and Technology] INSTRUCTORS FOR ProEngineer
Hi to all ProDesktop Users in VICTORIA
There are now scores of schools in Victoria using ProDesktop CAD software for designing projects in VCE Design & Technology and Engineering Systems courses, as well as middle school technology and computer design classes.
These students are being guided by Victorian teachers who have successfully completed a 2-day training course in ProDesktop offered either by Keith Hoy at De la Salle College, Syd Gordon at Hampton Park SC, David Fletcher through TEAV and/or LaTrobe University, or other qualified ProDesktop Instructors.
PTC will continue to make ProDesktop V8 available, and training courses will still be available in Victoria for ProDesktop over the next few years.
At the recent Technology Education Association of Victoria (TEAV) Conference, Ivan Chester from Griffith University was demonstrating the new upgraded ProEngineer software to be available to schools on the same basis as ProDesktop. (i.e. Software available free to teachers completing a 2 day training course for $260, and submitting an assignment to demonstrate competency). Much interest was expressed by delegates in this new software for schools.
In order to launch this ProEngineer software in Victoria, several instructors will be needed who are willing to run 2-day courses during weekends or school vacation periods. (Occasionally courses can be run during school time as party of a school's PD program). Courses are generally organised by the subject associations or regional area networks, and an attractive fee is paid to instructors for their services.
Expressions of interest are invited from TEAV members who are qualified and experienced in ProDesktop, to participate in a weekend training course to be held in Melbourne on 23 -24 th June 2007, led by Ivan Chester from Griffith University.
No fee would be payable for this course, but teachers would be required to indicate their willingness to run training courses 2-3 times per year. Some travel may be involved to run courses in regional areas, but expenses would be covered.
Accommodation and travel expenses to attend this weekend training course would need to be met by the participant.
Teachers interested in this "Train-the-Trainer" course should apply in writing to the undersigned, enclosing some examples of their own ProDesktop design work. (either CD ROM or paper copy). Confirmation of willingness to run ProEngineer training courses is also expected.
Applications should be received by June 1st, and successful teachers will be notified by June 8th.
Best wishes,
David Fletcher
