Ian,

Scorpio Technology sell a range of kits, including a racer that my year
9's use. I have bought a kit and used that as a parts list to get the
components separately. There are also kits sold by Dick Smith and CAM
that I have done the same with.

I have been searching the net for simple designs to make working model
cars in design technology (not the gas ones) combining materials and
electronics, as a project for Yr.9's. I do not want to buy a kit from a
model shop. My search has so far been unsuccessful. Can anyone help
please.
